Join us on April 9th to explore the wonders of foraging for mushrooms with Timothy Wheeler.

Join us to learn an intro to macrofungi of Montana from Tim Wheeler, geologist, mycologist, and lichenologist. Tim will focus on the diversity and interesting species that can be found in our state. Tim works for the University of Montana as a research technician, focusing on the genetics and genomics of the tree of life. He has been studying the fungi of Montana for 20 years, is a co-author of Montana Lichens; An annotated checklist, and is currently working on the checklist of unlichenized fungi for the state. He has been published broadly in biology and geology and some of his work can be viewed at timwheelerphotography.com.

Registration is $10 and gets you admission and two drink tickets.
Come to learn, leave with an appreciation of fungi, and maybe a few new tips to locating your favorite.
