Gardening indoors:  how to efficiently and economically produce greens in your home all winter long.

microgreens

Winter is here and there is no sign of breaking ground in the garden for some time, but that doesn't necessarily mean you can't grow your own food.  Larry Neskey, the garden manager for the University of Montana Dining Services Garden has been growing microgreens for consumption in the Food Zoo; indoors, all winter.  He's going to come by and share what he's been doing, and how you can do it at home too.

There is no cost, but please register so that we can be sure to accommodate everyone who is interested.   Also, please bring a light snack to share.  For additional information or questions email Seth Swanson or call 258-4205.
